About Us

Mike started Impact Graphic Design in 1998 when he decided that working for himself would give him more creative flexibility. It also gave him time to work more closely with clients to bring them the products they need to enhance their businesses. In 2021, together, we created G-Street Collective – our joint venture of design and making and selling handmade products (purses, bags, pet accessories, etc.).

Flash forward to 2024. While working a full-time job, I decided to turn my hobby of collecting and decorating with pre-owned (thrifted) vintage and eclectic decor into a side hustle of sorts. By curating items in trending styles but focusing on mostly unique vintage and mid-century modern pieces, we have amassed a collection like no other…..not to keep for ourselves, but to rehome with you. These items were once loved, cherished and displayed in homes around the world but became displaced at some point and would be headed for a landfill if not rescued. These treasures still have so much joy to bring and our goal is to get them in front of anyone willing to give them a space to be admired.

Throughout the course of our relationship, we have always taken the BackRoads to travel this beautiful country of ours, it’s just what we do. The BackRoads take us through the small towns, by the pastures, over the hills and it’s where we stop and look through the treasures left behind at thrift stores, antique shops, church bazaars and outdoor markets. This lifestyle led us to give this segment of our business the name…..BackRoads Collected and it’s where we have uncovered most of the amazing pieces of the past you will see listed on our site.
